I'm having a slow. Curry tommorrow and giving stew another go on Monday I think.

In regards to stew, I'll want to leave it on all day when I'm at work so what exactly should I do Sunday night?

Should it be cooked a tiny bit in a pan then just flung in the slow cooker and left until Monday morning?

I'd chop eveything up night before, brown the meat maybe then bung it all in the slow cooker on low.

I'm going for high this time. I think low on mine might be keep warm only and that's why it didn't work last week. Its an ancient ceramic thing.

On mine low is for cooking 6-12 hous and high for 4-8. So it depends on how much ime you have.

I haven't browned the steak today and it looks fine.

Mine is basically onions, spices and chicken, 10 mins in the pan then into the slow cooker.
