Hello

fitted xe all wired up fine earths good ecu powers up fuel pump kicks in lights on dash etc when you go to crank over NOTHING! Happens? Checked all earths good battery brand new fully charged so what could it be

any ideas?

Sounds like the starter motor is knackered. Check all your wires and plugs on the starter motor, if they all seem fine try tapping it with a hammer and try again.

You sure all your earths are good? I had this problem with mine and it turned out to be the gearbox to body earth. I had to clean the contact points and re attach and it cranked straight away. Check all your earths, clean and tighten, if it still doesn't crank then I'd say you have a faulty starter motor then.

The one to battery? That is

i got told to test it by running wire from battery to starter motor when i did it cranks over so its somthing to do with ignition

has anybody got a wiring diagram for corsa ignition barrel as one wire is cut and i need to no what its for

The one to the battery is a permanent live. The black wire pictured is the ignition live, needs to be joined onto the black on the Corsa loom. You done that?

Yes mate both of them are connected and yours looks same as mine red rocker black l piece lol

If you've joined to the black wire with the plug in the picture it should work.

If it still doesn't work you've missed something.

Yes mate checked em all good connections and the gearbox one i scratched the paint so its metal to metal still nothing also i have used a power wire as a earth will that matter? ive tryed earths in different places still nothing but yet cranks off battery?

Can you get a few pictures of you connection, and the starter charging loom?

Red and white? You mean thin red and black if so yes connected and fine

Yes mate everything connected properly all earths good battery brand new everything on engine new or a recon but i think i have found a problem a black wire coming off ignition plug has been cut so im gonna connect that back up and see what happens?

Had a look today and i think my ignition is funked lol the blackbox? At the end just fell to pieces so i gonna get another one and try that see if it does the job on a plus side the wire that was cut is connected

Think i have sorted the problem it was my ignition that was fubbard!
