Nearly two years since I bought this and it's still not seen the pleasure of England's Tarmac but that will soon change.

I am best man for a mate in July and to say Thankyou he has paid for me to go to pvs and I couldn't really go and not take the nova so it's now a rush to sort the niggles out and get it ready for the show.

My girlfriend kindly bought me a canvas of the loon for Xmas.

Plan for pvs is to get it on some cav expressions, plenty if lows and a few choice modifications. Oh yeah and it needs an mot, tax and insurance.

Need to update properly but here's a couple of pictures.

All red rear lights have been fitted since MOT.

On ramp at MOT, underside is in great condition.

Well. Yeah night before pvs there was a family emergency which resulted in me cancelling. Gutted but family before cars.

Fitted the cav expressions and yeah it looked cool but was no where near the look I was after so less than a week before pvs I set out to find new wheels.

On Thursday 3 days before pvs I set off to Surrey to buy some interesting wheels. Girlfriends car broke down on the m25. Upon arrival the seller said the offset was et13 but somewhere along the line I thought it was et33. This meant the wheels would stick out 20mm more than I hoped.

For now here is a sneaky pic of the wheels.

Looking good sean, Can't help but feel this in a nice subtle anthracite would look good. But then again it'd look sweet with the original colour cleaming!

Cheers gav.

Pow - I hate the mk2 dash. + keeping this retro as its an early saloon. Can see why people like the mk2 dash but its brown mk1 goodness for me

Since fitting the new wheels the plan is to get low! Really low! Noticed I was on the bumpstops on the front already so that needed sorting.

In the next couple of weeks I'm going to be modifying the coilovers to get as low as possible. Planning on modifying the rear beam too so that I can go lower but still maintain some travel.

Bit hard to see but this is how the front sat before - on the bumpstops.

Bumpstops and gaiters removed. Gaiter keeps making a weird noise when driving so its staying out.

Bumpstops before

Bumpstops after

Now how it sits, lower but with added suspension travel. Win all round!

And a random picture
