as some of you know i have a x18xe1 in my corsa  
 
i have had trouble with wiring everything works even engine management light  
 
my problem is 
 
the diagnostic plug does not work  it did when i had a x14xe in but not now has anyone got any words of wisdom or even a wiring diagram or what wire is for what i have used daveylc's thread but it is for a 1.2 8v  
 
my shell is a 1.2 16v  
 
any help will be much appreciated really doing my head in  
 
even if anyone could look at there wiring and see what color goes to what i know the diagnostic on a x18xe1 is yellow and a brown wire

What do you mean by the plug doesn't work, as in you can't do the paperclip test or that a scanner doesn't work?

My thoughts exactly...... anyways Yeh nothing connects mate op-com....obd etc does not pick up the ecu as if its not even there if you get me  scanner doesn't work done a paper clip test and it works got a couple of fault codes up

Only 2 wires are used for obd, will just be a case of getting them the right way around.

cheers linch and i didnt realise that tryed op-com  i tryed to connect to every pin and still says " cannot read ECU"
