Anti syphon fillers on them. You might get down with a smaller hose though.

Just take the fuel pipe off the engine and stick a live to the fuel pump.

It'll dump the tank in a few minutes and your throat won't get burnt.

Yeah pow but you still have to syphon with a hose or use a cup or something it's messy.

Live to pump takes about a minute and it flows nicely into your container.

Sorry to bump an old thread but where is the fuel pump to the engine located? Tried siphoning the petrol but just keep getting air in the tube so keep having to try and suck it back out. It doesn't taste nice . It's a Corsa B 1999.

Lift the back seats and there's a plastic cover, pop that out and Bob's your uncle.

as already said, take the fuel line off and pump it straight into a fuel can, or if you are scrapping the car put a hole in the fuel tank

best way in my reconing depends on why you are trying to get the fuel out ? if you are scrapping the car, replacing the tank or just out on the rob the easiest way is to hammer a screwdriver through the bottom of the tank and put something underneath to catch it as it runs out, if you dont want to damage anything another good way is to get a length of fuel hose to connect to the outlet of your tank and bypass your fuel pump relay to run the pump, i would avoid removing the cover where the in tank pump fits as it fills the car with fumes which isnt nice and is a bit dangerous, and its also an absolute pig to get back in right

If you're scrapping it just hammer a screwdriver into the tank and let it run out into a clean container.

Getting 170 to drive it in, or 135 for them to pick it up.

fuel filter is under the driver side. whip that off, then the pipe into it, then crank the ignition and it'll pump it all out in theory... never done that like haha
