how do you syphon petrol out of a corsa? it does not work with a hose pipe!! has any one got any ideas?

To syphon: -

Put hose in whatever you want to syphon. Make sure other end is lower than what your syphoning out of.

Suck on the hose, and then it will flow out by itself once you pull it through enough.

Some fuel tanks though have whatsits in so you can't syphon out. Not sure what cars though.

The fumes really don't taste nice, and don't corsas have anti-syphon valves on them?

I think they must have somthing to stop them syphonin cause I stuck the hose in as far as it would go and nothing!!! the end wasnt even wet?? maybe thers a gauze or something? blocking it

Most cars have a ball and cage in the end of the filler pipe to stop you putting a pipe in.

Just hook the fuel pump upto the battery, and use that to pump it out.

tlift the back seat up, take the plastic cover off, twist the metal ring, take out the pump, pipe in, suck

My 95 GSi had an anti-spyhon device, was a bastard considering id just put £30 worth of juice in her and realised the tank had split along the seam!

use a thiner hose, using a garden hose just fills your lungs with fumes! if its clear so that you can see the petrol coming its better aswell, because if you get a mouth full you will be breating the smell for about a week, no matter how much you brush haha!
