I understood you used thicker oil as the engine gets older, if it's freshly rebuilt I'd use 5/30 personally but I could be wrong. Good thread this glad you got it running and sorted my fav 5 door by far

Same, so with engine fresh it's better to use normal oil as they did from factory? Or have I missed something ?

Work on car today with Dave



Had play with merc and left him for **** after cock decided to sit on my bumper, and no longer cuts out under hard boost, so must have been wastegate

Changed coolant top hose for non split one. Got big cleaning session to do tomorrow too. Car runs great

Expensive update! Front coilover are avo at the moment and can't drive anywhere without it knocking all the time even though I'm only
About 60mm down they're bottoming out. Piece of shit.
Rears are regular gaz at te moment and they have been great, so really looking forward to getting this kit on, should improve handling loads!!

No top mounts come with the coilovers, does anybody else know what's needed?

I know with my last set, I had to buy the full lot from vauxhall inc cups wtc, but if I buy solid mounts, so I need all the other shite?
