Super 8 - Enjoyable film, like a cross between Goonies and ET, more mature though. Recommend a watch. 8/10

Black Swan: Hugely dissapointing. Portman was brilliant but poor effort from Aronovsky IMO. 5/10

127hours 8/10 very good film, amazing story if not a little uncomfortable to watch

Super 8 - 8/10
Saw it last night and really enjoyed it.
It's a monster flick, so it's not the deepest plot or best storyline. It doesn't try to be however and everything else just works.
Visuals are amazing and the train crash at the start of the movie is breathtaking.

Same.

If your wanting to see a big action movie with lots of fighting and special effects, id say go watch TF3.

Super8 is about the journey of the kids, not about the action or special effects.

I also enjoyed it.

how does a car destroy a train about 20 carriages long and have such little damage caused to itself?

It wouldn't be any less breathtaking if it had been a butterfly that caused it. The composition of that scene was awesome and the sound and visuals were jaw-dropping. Very good CGI in my humble opinion.

Suckerpunch - Shit and pointless story. Fit girls with guns. Great special effects. 7/10

Limitless - Too short of a film. Had much more potential. 6/10

The extended edition plus knowing what to expect makes me like it more though. Visuals and audio is top notch.

7/10

If you think the Theatrical Cut is enjoyable try watching the Extended Cut, which adds a bit more sense to the story and, especially, the ending.
