It would be really easy for them to release a 4S in July. New chip, camera, ram and iOS 5, job done.

Its a possibility. but i dont see why they would hurl 2 products in one basket. It doesnt make practical sense

one of my friends claims something similar and it cracks me up, no one would ever need to carry 64gb of music around on a daily basis

I purchased my 120gb classic for sole purpose of storing all my music on it.

In the past 4 years and 4 different iPhones I don't think i've ever used more than 3gb. I listen to music a lot too and plug it into my car everyday going to work and back. Do people not understand the concept of removing old stuff when adding new stuff.

I bet its the same people who only wear 20% of the clothes in their wardrobe but keep the rest for shits and giggles.

Its not throwing it away, its still on your computer/laptop.

Surely there isn't a need to have more than 16gb worth of music (4000 tracks) with you at all times, half of that will be shit you have no intention of listening to anymore.

I have an old old iMac and an old Macbook Pro

They were new when I got them!

I still have a new black iPhone4 though, but it's not the new new white iPhone4

I'm gonna wait for the new new new iPhone5 before upgrading

Just read something interesting, rumours are that apple are preparing something quite large for their 10th anniversary this Sunday:

quote:

- There's an overnight shift planned for around 10-15 individuals at each Apple Store to work from late Saturday all the way through mid-Sunday.
- During the overnight shift, it's going to be required that employees lock cell phones in the main office. They will also have to sign an NDA with Apple.
- There are a wide variety of roles, we're told, for the overnight shift. This includes all visuals staff, a manager, a business team member, a few Genius team members, one back-of-house employee, and a few generic Apple specialists.
- Apple stores have apparently already received hardware to install, and are expecting more hardware to come on Friday or Saturday. All materials that Apple stores have received have been instructed to be under lock and key until after close on Saturday night.
- Apple employees will be putting up black curtains at all stores so that people walking outside cannot see inside.
- Employees have had to download gigabytes of data from Apple corporate labeled, “training” in a password-protected zipped folder that won't accessible to managers or anyone else until Saturday afternoon.
- Lastly, all Apple retail stores have mandatory meetings on Sunday, May 22nd. Most meeting are scheduled for the morning, but there are evening meetings as well.

I'd LOL if a brand new iPhone came out after loads of people had just bought an ugly white iPhone 4.

Won't be the next iPhone. Probably just a refresh of the stores. Not sure if it's just the US too
