Get the bundle as Andy recommends. Far cheaper than buying separately.

The series is called A Song of Ice and Fire. Head over to the "books" thread for more info.

Currently reading through them for a second time and can fully recommend it.

Mate you live up north, land of the poor.

No chance you could afford such a wealthy piece of weaponry.

As am I On the second reading, I've picked up on far more little details (the old woman's dream when Arya is with the outlaws in A Storm of swords amongst many others). Makes me question Eddard and Jon Snow a lot more!

There's lots of details that should have been included (and things like Barristan dying being missed out ), but the up side is they hopefully can't spoil the next book if it keeps drifting.

Yeah, it looks to be the case. It's a shame they didn't include Eddard's flashbacks to Lyanna more in series one. "Promise me, Ned", would have made things a bit clearer. There are other possibilities though, involving Ashara Dayne. Knowing GRRM, it'll be neither

and again. The first time I was a bit confused after A Storm of Swords as it appeared that a fair bit had been missed out. But I read on regardless. I now know it's because I completely missed II:Blood and Gold

Paedophiles and burning your own daughter alive. Gone too far this time. Dislike.

Real life is cruel. Should watch some fiction in stead.

My missus was watching it upstairs and shouted down to me the following:

''did dragons used to be real?''

Agree with the burning daughter bit though. Didn't like that Especially when Shireen could still have a big part to play in the books so they may have fucked that a bit.

Finally got round to watching it today, was expecting more after seeing things on Facebook.

Apparently the next episode is going to "break the Internet"

The dragons take even longer to come in in the books, definitely isn't at the first fight. I hope Joroh finally gets some Queen pussy soon, poor guy, but seeing as she fucked off on a dragon leaving them all to defend themselves, I somehow doubt it.

Also, the unsullied are shit. Supposed to be super trained warriors bred for fighting and they can't handle a few yobs with masks on

It's strange, because that scene in the books ends with her attempted murder, not the death of Her husband. And aye, Danny flying off on Drogon is nearly the end of the current novels Glad they are veering off though. Now they can't ruin the next novel.
