Same bloody floorpan same suspension same engines even valvers have same bottom end, ha ha ha
I think its pretty amazing that a car that was designed in the late seventies is still goin strong and has a good following and still loads of em around
Other manufacturers equivalent cars of the day arent as common a sight now, when was the last time you saw a citroen AX/Visa, Fiat Uno, Mk1-2 Fiesta etc

AX, raced a nice one the other day. I dicked all over it.
Uno, saw one at Guildford, it was shit.
Anything with a Ford badge on I do not care much for.

'Jamie sheffield' started this post thinking that everyone would agree with him saying that nova's are crap, but i think that a lot of people have put a lot of good points on here to defend the nova.
I love my little gsi, yes, it is 10 years old, but it dosen't rattle even though it's decked, but it did rust badly, but it's getting sorted now (no, not by filler, genuine GM pannels)to concours standard. I'm not saying it's mega fast, but i'm very happy with it, i blew a vts of the other day up to 110 and he gave up! hsi face when he caught up 
is that nova sport picture next to the tent matthew searle, pccuk, old car? A friend of myn now owns that, he's had to have it totally restored, it was a right mess when he got it.

Yes, Probably sh!t driver, wasnt trying , Fumbled a gear or was made to look like a vts. Could be lots of reasons.

point is i had a 1.4 sri and now way would that eat my GT i have now, even when standard.

fyi it wasnt the max power nova v corsa day, damio was boasting on nova boards that novas are dead long live corsas then you lot all bottled a day racing against novas seems some of you knew what you would be up against
