Was it Dave Metcalf they called the Giant Killer in his Grp A Nova Gsi cos he kept woopin the arse of cossies etc in early nineties

i had a 1.3 sr as my fist car, with a gsi kit and interior, and 15" monzas, beasty little car, had done 140,000 miles , then i put them cam, ported and polished the head and full stainless zorst, that thing used to fly and used to handle so well! i loved it but agree was vrey rattly etc!
was about 95 bhp i think, 75 standard the cam put 13 on manifold and head work etc made upto 20 bhp, had it rolling roaded!

Nova's were gr8 little cars in there day! Pile of poo if you compare them with todays cars, but 15years ago not a bad little motor.

I brought one to cain about in a couple of years ago when I had my SXi.

Saw that Nova in Lichfield about 5/6months ago, just after trax, It does look tidy tho, I normally hate them but this ones well done, nothing wrong withit at all, shit hot bodywork from RJAutomotive

Mat G has its bonnet been repaired yet or are they leaving it like it was at Trax???

no mate its being sorted or is sorted. They did want to keep it as it was signed by lots of people. But its not the best advert for them really is it.

Sports are great mine looked like a 1.2 swing (no sticker kit) with a big zorst. people dont know wot it is then ya p!ss all over em inc R5 GT's Saxos Golfs etc

lol i seem to remember a group of girly bubble car owners bottling a 0-60 day against novas after they beat the saxos , says it all, the majority of corsas are 1.2 with wombat kits all show and no go
