Asked why that was the case, he said apparently in jest: "Maybe it's because I'm black. That's what Ali G says."

thats brilliant

Playing the race card because he didnt get his own way. I know he was joking (perhaps with a hint of being serious) about the "black" thing, but, build a bridge and get over it. He fucked up, and got fucked for it. Nigger.

Allowing tyre changes under red flag is a fucking joke.

Ruined the race.

As usual it all plays into Red Bulls hands.

They are the new ferrari.

same.

wouldn't be the same if people only overtook when they had a 100% chance of getting out of it without a scratch.

i really do hope that they don't try and go all volvo on the sport and have silly things like auto brakes and collision avoidance gizmo's on. would ruin the sport.

Boring race in comparison to all the others this season. Only time it got exciting was when red bull mega screwed up, and then the tyre situation towards the end.

Can't blame them for red flagging the race with Petrov possibly injured, but allowing a free change of tyres is mental.

I actually think that comment has done him some good. He always says what the "team" tell him to do, this season he has come out of his shell. Good for him.

first time i've agreed with you on hamilton, daniel, but on the other hand you have to give the lad credit for speaking his mind instead of saying what his PR girl has told him to say.

reminds me of a certain michael schumacher back in the day.

It was a brilliant interview right up until the race card. IMHO (and I'm not a Hamilton fan boi before it starts), Maldonado and Massa should have made more space, they knew the pass was on. If either of them had given half a cars width, he'd still have been over the kerbs and had a compromised corner exit securing their places but they chose to apex and risk the crash.

I don't know the exact rule for F1, but every other series, soon as the front wheels are at the b-pillar you have to make space. In F1 terms I guess that would be the sidepod in line with the rollhoop.

Using the race card, even flippantly referencing AliG, will not sit well with the FIA.

Still haven't seen just how he got inside Massa heading in to the tunnel. By god I wanna know too!

i think massa was just slow coming off the corner before the tunnel. alonso has major traction issues coming off the slow last corner so i guess massa had the same problem.

was quite strange seeing hamilton and massa ''stuck'' together as their full locks were on but couldn't turn enough to seperate

They're ruining F1 with regulations - they should be encouraging the driving shown by both Paul DiResta and Hamilton, brute force and determination as opposed to processional driving. Monaco is notoriously difficult to over take on, if someone has the balls to make a move, they should be applauded, not penalised. Hamilton has a real racer's instinct to win at all costs. I'm not convinced Vettel has that, at least not yet, He's a good driver and there's no debate but is he a good racer?

Monaco is a shit circuit anyway IMO.

Only kept on the calendar as it's a money spinner. It always has been a precession in modern times.
