cut the black pipe going from actuator to turbo, then fit the boost controller in between the actuator and turbo.

So I cut the back pipe in half and add the T piece then run a pipe from the controller to the T piece? Still kinda fussy lol

look at the picture of the engine bay, look just behind the oil filler cap and you can see a bit sticking out of the inlet mani. That won't allow the car to boost above 8-9psi. use a very large jubilee around it to hold it shut or weld it shut etc

Forget the Tee piece - just use the 2 connections of the Controller between the Turbo compressor and Actuator.

I've used one of those Controllers on my cousins D-Turbo 306, and found similar problems with control - fitted a traditional Bleed Valve and it worked as we wanted it to instantly...
And I used a normal Bleed Valve on my old 1.7TD Cav without any fault either.

these engines do not run off an ecu, they will only boost more if the fueling is upped alot, take the white ring outta the diaphram and have a play with the fuel. i had to adjust the cold idle aswell this somehow stopped it smoking as much under load. get it done properly and it will fly my 1,5td novavan did
