hey all. Hope someone can help. I have just got an iphone 3g second hand, but want to unlock it so i can put my contract sim in.
I have jailbroken it and installed cydia. I have them gone onto cydia, installed ultrasn0w to unlock it, but when i put my simcard in, it just says searching in the top left corner and wont connect to a network. I have tried resetting the newwork settings, but still doesnt work
Anyone done this? Help and advice would be appreciated?

When I had my 3G, the same happened after I unlocked it with Ultrasn0w.
How long you let it say 'Searching' for as mine sometimes took a good 10-15 mins to getta signal.
Or you could try removing Ultrasn0w and reinstalling it but its probably just taking a long time to connect is all.
