New tyre ordered. Need to have the tyres taken off the rear wheels and seal them up the using the revised method I used on the fronts. It'll be fine in a week.

No damage to the rim or overfender so not too bad.

Update!

My fully refurbished wheels are on! It's took a lot of work and even involved buying another set of wheels for the centre caps :wack: but it's been well worth it! Japfest was awesome and despite a slight malfunction on route the car was there in almost all of its glory! found a tasty little spot at a service station for some snaps on the way home too!

Yea that's just the colour they came in when I bought them! It's all going blue when I eventually get the 2 weeks free to drop the car into paint!

That is lovely.

Don't you have traction issues with those silly stretched tyres? My car handled awful around corners with stretch on the rear. Constantly felt like it was going to oversteer into a hedge.

Car looked ace at japfest

It was on the sxoc stand, oddly enough it was about the furthest stand from anything there, behind bobbies chicane

None at all mate. You sure it wasn't your camber angles giving you reduced grip?

Luke: yea SXOC were the furthest away from anything and mine was right at the back as I didn't arrive at 7am like everyone else due to a little tyre incident!

Mattb: cheers mate. I found yours! I used looking at it as a good excuse to hide under a gazebo from the rain!

Wheels are finally all sealed. Feels great to have 4 wheels that don't leak air.

Picked up an auto diff for this the other night as I'm sure mine isn't locking up properly anymore. Just got to decide what to do about the mounting bushes!

Yea the whole thing will be blue. Those panels are just the colours they are as that's what they were when I got them!

It's just finding a window of time to put it into paint. I'm hoping for late July at the moment
