Update

Finally a day of good weather!

got straight out and finished drilling / fitting up the replacement bumper, once that was done I took it back off (needs a bit of fiberglass attention) and fitted the old one for now so I can still drive it around!

Got my new arch liners fitted in too and mounted the Ings+ skirts up to the new wings. Also made and fitted a plate to fit to the back of my oil cooler to blank it off as it's sitting too cold in winter.

This was followed up by a good hoon around taking advantage of the dry roads and cold intake temps!

Then i finally managed to wash it! First time since christmas day

So gave it the full treatment, finished of with meguiar's ultimate liquid wax

Took a few phone snaps, I'm so pleased with how the wings look. Quite like them grey actually

Not long until it goes in for paint, I'm aiming for start of April so it'll be ready for japfest.

Well that looks absolutely stunning.

The same can't be said for the utter bellend who undertook me on a 1 lane sliproad today whilst I was leisurely driving my car with the missus inside. Utter nob head.

John-D : Nissan BN6 Sapphire Blue

Thanks Darryl!

Ben G: they are just at the bottom of their price curve at the moment so I suppose some idiots are buying them.

John: err yea I suppose just what people call them. Over-wings sounds abit odd.

Thanks Chris!

Update

Been getting loads of small jobs done on the car over the last week as it's stopped constantly raining.

I've wired in some resistors into the indicator circuit to stop them flashing so fast as I've removed the side repeaters when fitting the chargespeed wings.

I've also fitted an eyebolt anchor plate inside the transmission tunnel for my left hand side lap belt to pick up on.

Then over the last two days I've fitted my japspeed adjustable lower arms.

Haven't actually got a fitted photo.. I just need to get hold of a 35mm spanner (or big adjustable) to nip up the lock nuts to drive it to A-Line!

They have quite a lot of in built in roll centre correction so should pair well with the Apex Roll centre correction ball joints up front. And I'm hoping that now all the arms are adjustable I can use the new bottom arms to pull the camber back in to the -1.5 range instead of the -2.5 I've got now.

Then I fitted the 'Apex Performance forged anti-bump steer track ends'

These seem a really well made item and bring the steering arm back into line with my adjusted lower arm. My car was suffering with bump steer (and the old track rods were knackered) so hopefully these should sort it all out. You can see how much longer the spindle is in this picture and also how the joint is cranked so the spindle won't be cocked over like stander ones are when the car is this low.

With my roll centre now corrected front and back and the anti bump rod ends I'm hoping the handling should be pretty much top notch, will have to wait until a can get it aligned to find out!

Yeh, like me.

I've NEVER heard someone call quarter panels "rear wings"

Update

Got my wheels back from being powdercoated :smitten:

Built them back up over the last few days and sealed them up. Going to have the tyres fitted tomorrow. The centre caps are still with the powdercoaters.

Very very happy with them

Where did you get them done? I need my split rims refurbing and not sure what price I'd be looking at.

Cheers, I had them powdercoated at the birmingham branch of 'the wheel specialists' they've got a few dotted around. I did all the stripping and rebuilding myself. I got the bolts and nuts from SRR
