basicly c20xe in a nova but the 4 wires that go to the coil i'm having problems with

its like the wires have been cut to fit a new plug
and fits as follows

black car (with wire wrapped round the wire) - black red (plug side)
black yellow--------------------------------------------black (plugside
twin wires black white-------------------------------green (plug side)
brown (car side)---------------------------------------brown (plugside)

main problem is is car wont start but if you wiggle the wire with the insolated wire round it it will start but fires on 3 cylinders and if you touch the wire with the wire thats wrapped round it it dies ?

i'm guessing the conector is off an diffrent loom

here on the left is the black wire with the insoluating that is getting me as what it connects to ethier doent have insulating or ive ripped it of by accident lol

yes but you have to run the black ignition live which is near coil when in calibras and cavs and wire it back into car or on nova you can connect it to the wiper motor or something,

not too sure where exactly it goes on a nova either black wire going to fuse box or wiper motor wire ( should imagine its the live) ive only read about novas and onlydone corsas but at somepoint in the conversion the ign live needs to be run from near coil back towards car so if you havnt done that its probably something to do with that
