Nope, I went up earlier to make up the second door bar and the harness bars so they're ready for Ste to weld next time he's there. Didn't go well

Bollocksed the door bar so I think that's gonna have to be redone meaning I've possibly wasted 1.5m of CDS After that I started on the harness bars but the knock in confidence and not having a clue how to work out how to make sure they're straight, I thought it best to leave them till someone more qualified was about to supervise

To help me feel slightly useful I then got the toffee wheel out on the side strip glue so that's done but the cage bits annoyed me so I called it a day at that.

Cage is done.

Sunroof, spare wheel and sanding are next.

Then it's good to go to Ian's. Needs booking.

Needs seat mounts sorting before paint, that's more cutting and welding.

You about today?

And seat mounts, yes.

Ste tells me they're marked, just needs fabricating and welding in.

On it today if you are about?

You could have taken my welder out before covering it in dust!

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

It's not that bad, sanding was just a heavy course so it's mostly on the floor.

You can see tomorrow when you actually turn up.

You better believe it

When we was moving it out of the garage, to save some maneuvering we decided to try and rock the back end over a bit, just me and Ian. You know how you'd usually get 3-4 people doing it and slowly inch it over, we did a 1 2 3 yah! and it just slid about 12-18 inches My 40mm springs now look to be sitting higher than standard on the back though and there's virtually no weight going back in there Need coilovers

Tom I can't wait to take you out in it mate, it's gonna be a right giggle. It's looking like you might be out with me on the WR session too, I should have a 9am session lined up now because they were selling for £9 so that'll be my shakedown then I've got 2 other sessions but usually the WR one comes before the additional one so you're out on one and I've told Chris I'll show him how to drive on my 3rd one I'm really hoping to get a battle with the Puma in there somewhere
