i dont agree with racism normally but that thread does make you angry .

but whilst on the subject i can see barnshaws point, Paki imo is the same as Brit/scot so i dont see why its offensive (obviously is to someone however otherwise this wouldnt have come about) however who ever bought it up really needs to re read that thread as there is a worse comments imo than the word paki in there and im only on page 3.

People know "paki" will be seen as racist.

They either do it to be racist or do it so they can say "same as saying Brit or scot etc" although they never say it to people they don't know... fishing for reactions is why I never bother to reply to that kind of person on here

In regards to Root's comment, lets be honest, Ian does speak like a Barrister on here. I really cannot picture the same vocabulary being used by a Scouser in real life.

Calling someone a paki isn't the same as calling someone an eng. Have you ever heard someone be called an eng in your life ever anyway? If you're going to be offensive or racists, grow a brain or at least a pair of bollocks and realise the consequences of your actions.

If you don't know, it's going to be very difficult to educate you. But it's not the same.

I find the correlation between the people unable to string proper sentences together whilst promoting casual racism amusing

I've had this argument many a time before.

Discrimination.

Paki = Abbreviation from Pakistani
Yank - American
Scot - Scottish
Aussie - Australian

I don't see it a racism, addressing them by abbreviated term.

Yes there are other derogatory terms people use.

But as you've stated it's used in a different context in that thread.

The same way I've been called a scottish cunt plenty of times on here.

And well well.....

It's ALWAYS the same usernames involved.
