Thanks bud,

Last night I got a engine stand off a friend.
so over winter my plans are,

- Engine out with a slight rebuild, clean up ect..
- Engine bay prepped for smooth and wire tucking.
No rush for it to be finished so will be slow, but done for show season next year

It's out of the budget for this year, it's only a slight going over really. Mainly to stop oil leaks once and for all and a good clean up. It's been rebuilt before and only 35,000 miles so won't need alot.

Fair enough then, would it be much £ to convert you XE to the Let, then you would know you havn't got a dog and could work out cheaper when the times right

Also what you guys think about this car cover

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-CORSA-WATERPROOF-BREATHABLE-FULL-CAR-COVER-/250871802344?pt=UK_Car_Exterior_Accessories&hash=item3a691fe9e8#ht_1974wt_1199

I know there prone to giving you scratches ect. But car will be fully cleaned and polish and waxed before it goes on so no dust will be under there.

It's just I need it to cover the car while working on the engine bay ect.. As there's no room in the garage. I'm just worried about it mabie going rotten under the cover? I'm not sure on how "breathable" these covers are?

Engine is being ripped apart today, ready to come out soon

Don't know what to do with the airbox? Because if the inner wings are getting smoothed in and I'm loosing all the fixing lugs, there's no where for it to sit. So I may have to get a gash induction kit need one that will look nice at least.

get one of those bmc cda filters or the pipercross viper, would look better than a generic induction kit.

Always like them but quite pricey lol. Will more than likely get one. As they look really tidy and in a way subtle. Can you not get different sizes?
