Was speaking to somebody the other day, who had some function on his phone (not actual phone software!) where he can have up to ten numbers.

It's not just a simple case of call forwarding either, as it's instant when you phone the landline number it goes through to a mobile straight away.

Would just be handy function to have, as you could have a "Manchester Office, London Office, Edinburgh Office" etc without having anything there

Anybody got any info on this?

Think he uses a company called Gteq, but they seem quite expensive.

Same as 0845 numbers and the likes probably. Most people use voip to achieve it now.

Aye, could use VOIP and have local numbers they all go through to same phone/automatically forwarded to a mobile.

We use BT for our VOIP line in Liverpool, have a standard 05 VOIP number and also got our old 0151 number ported over.
