Why didn't you use a engine building company? When I had mine done they turned it around in less than a week. That was a over bore, replace all guides, re-seat all the valves, and re-face the head.

You must have a company local to you that could of done it all months ago.

it is mate , get engine back and fitted, make some cooler lines up, then of for its exhaust, then just the fuel system to sort and of for the wiring and mapping at waynes

Pipewerx did a belter of a job on Kev's new exhaust on his GSI.
Ill either be using Pipewerx or making the long trip to Sheffield for mine as my old one was brilliant quality too

big thanks to scouse gaz for sorting the sticker plates

original reg for mot time,



some nicley spaced plates (pb playing up so cant rotate them)



and the legaly spaced one




and how the car is atm as spoke to phill today and i should be colecting the engine tomorow

Corsadonk...prob is a proper engine builder. ...not reconditioner may take just as long...i had to wait 5mnths to have circlip grooves machined into pistons myself .I have a main job so dont have 7days a week to build engnes full time. Also spec changed, ended up going for forged pistons so they had to get made to suit + had to wait for head to get port bored...2-3wks on that then finish porting, get guides fitted + seats cut etc, then having block bored, etc, lad who does my machining is shit hot but can take abit too long at times as their that busy. So all takes time and most of its out my hands tbh.
