Yeah whats inside the outer braid, black rubber, or is it white stuff?

think its clear , will get a pic tomorow for you














picked up a few more connectors the other day as need to start making some earth straps



also got a few more bitf from vauxhall, pic of part numbers incase anyone needs them



rubber doughnuts for bottom of rad to sit in



thermostat gaskets



new water temp sensor



new vs old



and fitted to the test block



also got my rad back today from having the outlets changed





and bought myself a nice little catch tank, might have it polished up but undecided yet??





only need one outlet so blanked out the other ,am not 100% happy with its location but i have no where else for it





and a few pics of the dummy engine,













and get the rest of the polished bits back on monday , just need to but a throttle cable, clutch cable,water/vacume hoses, airfilter, oilcooler and lines and get the exhaust and boost pipes done and thats the engine sorted

Ah, yeah if it's PTFE lined it will leak, not a lot because it's only low pressure. Who did it for you? Pirtek.

The way I would do it is, have a tapered adaptor screwed into the block, with a parellel BSP male on the other side, screw a female swivel fitting swaged onto the hose, then the fitting on your turbo needs to be swaged on. Has the end of the fitting got the barbs like the banjo hi pressure fitting?

no mate was a local place to me , all that above means nowt to me haha its like a diffrent language can you write it so a 10yr old would understand then i might have a clue

Have you got a set of vernier calipers? If you measure the threads I'll tell you what you need, and measure the tail that comes off the flange, and let me know if it's got the ridges on it.

wasent 100% happy with the turbo oil return so went and got a bit of rubber pipe and am going to use that now

spun the core of the turbo round like dewismotorsport said as the pipe was kinking



and my mate finaly started to fit my diff, got to take the diff to his work on monday as i dont have a press to put/take off the bearings then will get that fitted back together and paint again

got my 2wd conversion plate through this morning ,



my mate also put the new bearings on the diff and put on the crown wheel





he then came round after work to fit it all back together, looks quite easy and will be doing it my self in future if i have ny probs and have to swap the diff
just need to paint it again now





and the money shot



also went the polishere today and colected the rest of my bits, just need to get my boost pipes and exhaust done when its been made

screamer pipe





fuel rail





dipstick holder





oil cap



fuel rail brackets





lower alt bracket





intercooler







and had the inlet re done as i had got a few scratches on it





and some more pics fitted to dummy block

















and got a clutch cable , got to go back tomorow as they have orded me a throttle cable



just waiting for the engine to come back now , should have it in about a weeks time as phils still waiting for the new pistons to arrive

got my new throttle cable today but its the wrong one so need to take it back tomorow



also painted my gearbox again
