droped my cam belt covers and the cam cover of to be acid diped yesterday and got them back cost £35 still undecied which one to use

finaly wraped my loom today just got to order some p clips to get it all fitted







and all baged up until it goes in the car

made some brackets today for the dash , its now held in with 3 bolts and is more sturdey then when it was a standerd dash


also the stearing surround does not fit for some unknown reason so will just not fit one





give the camblet covers a sand down then etch primed and high build filler then flated and there ready for paint

just got to etch prime the rest them of to get painted

It may be the boss. Iv got a aftermarket boss on mine and after putting that on the surround was a bitch to get on. Don't know why tho lol. Managed in the end but it is tight.

it sits ok on the boss its just the key barrel does not line up with the hole, think there might be 2 surrounds as mine says airbag on the underside

Ah yep you have the wrong one. Your barrel comes out to the side a bit where as a airbag one comes out straight.

get my nylon gear linkage bushed through today so got them fitted, just got to finish up throwing the wiring in tomorow

you should make a cover for the other side of the dash out of sheet ally to tidy it up and get it flocked

which other side??, both ends have been flocked














well today got woken up by the postman with my carbon cambelt cover, its a bit shit realy so dowt i will be using it









then the job that ive been doing yesterday and finished of today was getting the wiring in all tidy











zipties ftw





and with the dash fitted





can just see the light switch hanging down under the dash















and also got the cam cover in etch primer

i need to get some bonnet raises for it but i can use the normal corsa ones as the bonnets to light for it

Coming on well, Wiring is a nice job

Going back to the gear linkage, Have you not changed the small cup bushes at each end? I'd do them aswell, From vaux about £7 iirc.

got my other surround today from a non airbag model and it fits






so got that and the gauge holder sent of to get flocked

also took this out of the old rocker cover and gave it a clean



need to go pick up my sbd rocker mod of greg and get that fitted at some point





and then wraped the engine up , all ready to go away for the head work
