I've been told its a piece of piss, but having limited (or none if I'm honest) mechanical skills I just wanted to make sure.

Anything I should look out for when I do it? And anything that'll cut the job time down would also be good.

If you don't care about your factory exhaust then bash it off with a hammer, if like me it is a brand new car it will be easy to get off, but if you want to keep your factory exhaust, then you might have to heat where it bolts onto the mid pipe.

Without doing this, spray shed loads of WD40 onto the bracket that connects the box up to the mid pipe, leave it 10 or 15 mins, then take off all the rubber bungs off the brackets on the exhaust, and twist and pull (might need 2 of you), it will eventually come off, and putting the new exhaust on will be a peice of piss

Yeh that might be helpful, do you not have ramps, i would never get under a car with both sides jacked up with the standard vauxhall jacks

No, I've not got ramps. However, I do have 2 pretty strong mates

Will axle-stand thingies be alright you reckon?
