I can just feel this starting to come on, anything I can take or do to try and head it off before its too late Been gargling salt water, that usually stops the sore throat from going any further.

I'm on multivitamins, orange juice, seven seas vitamin tonic, bloody everything in my cupboard... it's not working. Going to go down the gym for a session on the treadmill and then the sauna I think

I'm out on my mountain bike tonight after work so I reckon that's either going to make or break me I'll have to stock up on fruit juice and vitamins this lunch time

Your supposed to rest to aid your body in fighting the cold.

Eat raw meals (vegs, fruit etc) stuff thats easy to digest to give your body more time to fight.

Got my vitamin C, orange juice and some blackcurrant lozenges.

I'm still going bike riding though.

I've actually never met Nic, Danny Although I was out in Carlisle on Friday night and there are some really really disgusting women up there so I'm wondering if one of them has brushed some sort of disease on to me as they walked past.

Just got over a cold that turned into a flu like thing, started with kinda a sore throat. More like a dry, scratchy feeling in the back of my throat.
I bought some expensive throat spray and that killed the sore throat pretty quick.

I've got the sore throat thing too. Felt it starting yesterday so I'm on the strepsils to help ward it off. so far they seem to be holding it at bay.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Bike ride last night did the trick, feel like it cleared a few cob webs out Got a bit of a runny nose but dont feel groggy like yesterday and my sore throats gone too.
