Ok, after another successful day yesterday there was already talks of when the next one will be, I thought I would just make this now so we can have a chat about it and see who will be up for going. This one was organised quite quickly and didn't give some people all that much time to organise and see if they can come so I'm going to book the next one a lot sooner, I'm thinking for around March of next year as the January one we had was a tad cold and icy

Someone mentioned Falkland Performance in Fife, having had a quick look at their site I see it's only a 2WD set up and only capable of reading up to 500bhp, that eliminates a few potential cars and quite possible Nics Corsa, I would have liked to see if that will read over 500 at the next day.

Anyway, give me your thoughts on location/time and we will get something sorted out.

Hypertech - Been before, no issues
Performance HQ - Been before, no issues
Falkland Performance - 2WD 500bhp limit
Sitech - Maybe too far for the majority (on the A9)
Star Performance - 4WD 16 car maximum
Maxwell Racing Developments - no information
Car Tuning Clinic - no information
Extreme Motorsport - 4WD Dastek RR
Ace Performance Cars - 2WD rollers
AVA - not reccomended
Warpspeed Performance - no information
Wallace Performance - AK uses them regular, highly reccomended, wya up north though

Those limitations would rule out a fair few potential members! I'll go anywhere

Yeah, I'd rather go somewhere else where we can accomodate for everyone, see if we can get AK to bring thr skyboat and Subaru down, not to mention there's a few others that would come that wouldn't be able to go on with those limitations.

You will almost certainly have twice the amount of people not turning up to an aberdeen trip though!

I will say one thing... I'm happy to go to these rr days but eventually we'll need to stick to one as its impossible to get a benchmark set. The rr day is basically the meeting point for a natter atm I'm happy with that, but the point of the day is on car performance!

I'm quite happy to go back to where we've been before, performance HQ offer it cheaper the more cars we get which is good and I had no problem with the way they did things yesterday. The option of different ones is just an idea.

Out of the previous two I would say Performace HQ, apart from the lack of free biscuits

I thought the place on Saturday was very good and relatively easy to find thanks to mike b's sat nav. Russ the operator was nice and helpful as well.

It's more the place than the distance that would make me go somewhere.
