I decided I wanted to build a redtop corsa b so i found a decent cheap shell that was rust free and was perfect for what i needed it for.

As you can see it wasnt looking the best when I bought it lol but it was perfect for what I had planned to do with it.

It was a 1.4 sri so came with the 1.4 ecotec engine which wasnt running when i bought it as I had just bought it for the shell.

Next I decided to completely stip the interior out....

I then bought the astra gte engine that I would be using in my corsa. Then with the help of a couple of my mates I took out the old 1.4 engine....

Then again with the help of a few mates we then put the C20XE engine into the corsa....

Then it was just the shell that I needed to work on.

I had got bought the gsi kit along with the engine so once I had got that re-sprayed, I then put it onto the car along with the new seats, steering wheel, and cesaros that I had just recently sprayed.

I then got hold of some suspension and lowered it 60mm all around but the front looked quite abit lower than the back due to the weight of the engine and there being no weight in the back of the car, so I then found some 90mm springs for the back which did the job perfectly.

On its first outing, which I brought it out the garage just to clean it up, it was almost finished apart from the gsi bumper as it was still getting resprayed.

The day I finally got my bumper back from being resprayed, I took it for a first test run down to my local car shop to get a front reg plate made up then to my mates house to check everything over....

I am now looking to add more power to the engine.

Firstly going to find a powercap instead of the ecotec adaptor pipe then maybe look into cams and manifold next month.

Looks stunning mate really does. If it were me I would have kept the Sri standard look just fucking low with standard silver cesaros. I love the look of black sri's, so old school! Don't happen to have the red strips and Sri badges do you?

Just took a couple of new photos today after a trip down to sheffield and back to pick a powercap up....

Got a powercap now but still need to get the adaptor pipe for between the powercap and the air flow meter before i can put it on.

My plan is to take it off the road when the tax runs out at the end of next month, then get the engine rebuilt over the winter and find some cams and a manifold to gain more power then bring it back out when around spring/summer time.

I am also thinking of a different colour for the wheels just for a change..not sure which colour to go for yet but im looking for a colour that will stand out and something different

cheers mate i like them white but im thinking of spraying them something different for a change not sure though yet cos i think they look good in white. On the other hand it would cost me next to nothing to change them back to white if I didnt like the colour

Decided to put a dashboard back into my car the other day as i wanted to tidy it up abit and my mate had a spare black dash so i thought i would put it in

Also here is a pic of my seats as i havent put any pics of them on yet....

Still havent decided what coulour to spray my wheels yet...want a bright colour to spray them i reckon bright orange or kawasaki green

Anyone got with photoshop that can give me an idea on what they would look like in either of these colours?

I know lee from PNG, before i was such a common posted i knew his corsa too.

Personally i only like stubble colour wheels, bright wheels arent my thing, i like the white on black.

Also, you leaving the dash like that? Needs some carbon bits plus some of the norm bits imo.

yeh ive always liked white with black had my corsa c like that for a while aswell. Just gonna try some different colours for a change but im not into the illuminous halfords spraypaint lol they will be going back white again when ive had enough of experimenting with other colours.

And im not sure what im doing with the dash yet just put it in to tidy it up abit, il probably be putting some of the other bits back in or something like that, or it may even come out again if i get fed up of it lol

I think carbon dash bits would look cool and be functional at making it look good and making bases for gauges/switchs.
