I dont know yet pal. I've got a few in the garage but I'll be using bits and bobs from them all. If theres enough left to get another up and running I'll give you a shout. They go pretty well. 100bhp standard!

Cheers Kyle, I've been wanting a set for ages but just never came across a set for right money. The head will be goin to get skimmed. Then can hit on getting stuff painted!

Gearbox gonna be exactly same as yours cock! Looks spot on that does, as for the block and head I've already ordered some VHT engine primer and paint. Might get done in the next week or two!

Finished sanding down the wing mirrors and managed to get a few coats of primer on them. Only took one picture, but I'll be wet and drying them tomorrow.

Small update

Cleaned the block up this week so that it is ready for primer and paint and also had the bumper off to see how the FMIC sits.. It's a tight fit to say the least but should fit super with little modification! Here's a picture of the clean block...

Picture of the intercooler before we chopped the brackets off..

Trying it out for size!

Sorry bout the quality of picture

Thanks for looking!

Right ok. Been on a few little bits since the last update, had a few things arrive through the post and gettin stuff built up!

Picked up some Vectra door handles interior and exterior, the paint match on the exterior ones isn't that good so I haven't put them on yet but here's a few pics.

Handles

Interiors before I swapped the back plates

Excuse the dirt. Finished job!

Also got the VHT engine primer and paint through the post which is pretty cool stuff.

Primer

BLUE!!

Oil pump cleaned up and put on

Mocal sandwich plate put on for remote oil filter.

Sump painted and on!!

Also managed to get round to taking the sound proofing up, which to my surprise was easier than I expected!

Up in 1 piece!

All up

Now today's job is to get rid of all the glue stuff which is stuck to the floor.. Gonna try white spirit on it. Anybody know of anything else we can use? Once it's off, will be treating a bit of rust in the spare wheel well and painting it.

Thanks for reading guys!

Another update, not quite finished but made a start on the rust in the spare wheel well and primered the floor. Just need to do either side with primer now and we'll be looking something like!

Here's the boot floor before

And the underside

After I grinded it up

Then just a few licks of red oxide

Then did the bottom with satin black over the red oxide and caked it in the waxoyly stuff

Wheel well after primer

And the rest of the floor as it all got scratched when I took the soundproofing up.
Just a light coat,

Thanks for looking!
