Mine runs fine and I'd say a lot smoother. Only had the call drop/phone reboot once so far. The double tap to do a "." also needs to be done so much faster now which is annoying.

Yeah double tap the space bar for a full stop. The speed you have to do it has increased massively now that I have to concentrate on it.

I upgraded mine to iOS4 this afternoon and ever since I've been trying to downgrade back to 3.1.3 so I can be jailbroken again, what a nightmare, wish I'd never bothered

You sorted it yet mate? I managed to do it on my 3g and it was a nightmare, but it is possible to do.

So much happier on 3.1.3 again

I am having odd issue with phone dropping calls and rebooting but apart from that cant imagine downgrading.Only happens rarely.

Na I haven't Danny, I've stuck with iOS4 cause I don't seem to have much choice but I'm really annoyed, I hate the new software I want 3.1.3 back. I just kept getting error 3194 come up when Apple were verifying me going back to 3.1.3

You can jailbreak the iOS4 though, I had mine jailbroken, but as im on a 3G it was slow as shit lol

My 3G is on iOS4 and jailbroken. I disabled multitasking and user backgrounds and it runs no slower than with 3.1.3 now.

ive just jailbroke my 3g on ios4 as said disabled multitasking and backgrounds ands it no slower i used redsnow and the new frimware for it with the help from doug it was easy
