Vibrio, your comment about the Impreza is so. I raced a Impreza he had 4 in his car and I had 2, 60-100 his car was'nt much faster than mine. This was a K-reg one.

I raced a '51' reg Impreza off the lights the other day. Was a lights on a big road so was plenty of room. He pulled away quicker but was not accelerating much quicker than me. When we got up to about 70mph I felt I was beginning to gain on him!

The new Imprezas do 0-60 in nothing like 4.5secs. I didn't say I beat it, I said it wasn't accelerating that much faster than mine. My car is not exactly slow though is it. You really are a prick!

I would get trashed off the lights and probably all the way through the rev range, by a new Scooby.
But the old ones are'nt all that fast, off the lights they would cain me, but on the motorway they are'nt much faster than mine.

They are no slower than around 5.2 secs. Unless it wernt a turbo.

Si, get a grip! Just cos my car was performing very well last summer doesn't mean it isn't now! I've had loads more done to it since then!
I only had my engine put in last April and it was running terribly for months. It took a while to get sorted but is alot better now. Still isn't as good as it should be but that will all change in the next couple of months when I get my MBE engine management, pistons, injectors etc..

no bug eyed ones do 60 in 6ish seconds and take 16.5-17s to do 100mph thats a shite 60-100 time

Its nion impossible to beat a scoob off the line, 5k drop clutch bang - gone. 4wd traction - cannot beat it. Its then you have to catch up, so need at least another 50hp more than the scoob to catch up and overtake on the quarter.
