Unless you're going to drop in really wild cams and rev it to fcuk, forget the forged pistons. The standard pistons are good to 8250 and with your Dibilas TBs (which don't flow as much air as seperate TBs), you'll not be making real power above 8K. Get your pistons pocketed (£60 from SBD) drop in some higher lift cams and them get it all mapper PROPERLY. Can't emphasise how important it is to go to someone who knows what they're doing.

Current cams are 278degree, my standard pistons have been modified but was told that with uprated high compression pistons I could increase the capacity to around 1689cc and would give around 12-15bhp extra. Is this bollocks?

I've 'mated' an F10 and F13 box together. I'm hoping the offspring will be a closer ratio 5-speed F13 box, with about 15mph per 1000rpm in 5th (instead of 20mph now). Oh and that Tran-X diff too

The uprated forged pistons are designed for more revs - not more compression. If you increase your compression ratio, your current pistons should be OK. But of course if you rebore to 1689cc, you'll need new pistons anyway - and if money's not a problem, you might as well get some nice forged jobbies. 1689cc will give you 5% more torque and power, all other things being equal - that's about 8-9bhp. However - word of warning; that's as far as you can bore the block, so if you ever want to do a rebore, you're stuffed. That's why I went for 1st oversize (1649 cc)

Ask them for some discount - tell 'em you're leaning towards the Quaife LSD but you could be pursuaded.

The Punto's would win.

Corsa's are frightfully underpowered and lacking any decent grunt.

Not all POAH members drive Puntos.

It was either 2.13 or 2.31 I really can't remember! 2.13 really rings a bell though! My 1st and 2nd gears are fast its just my 3rd and 5th gears that let my car down.
