I have no idea, was merely commenting on the standard of squad on paper. There's more of a collective team performance under Capello but for individual talent it's the worst in a number of World Cup campaigns.
Meaningless comparisons really but when Spain need to make a change they'll bring on Fabregas, Mata and Pedro. Argentina will bring on Higuian, Milito and Aguero. England will bring on Wright Phillips, Cole and Heskey.

Fine by me. Bar Heskey. Qualifying campaign has shown the squad to be decent. Regardless of star quality.

Capello has just shown himself to be a right cunt. "I won't pick players who aren't getting regular football and aren't in form" Heskey? Joe Cole is a damn good player but how much has he played this season? And Carrick in form?

Thats what annoyed me too Eck but he obviously has his plan in mind and is going to stick with it. Still don't understand why (or even if) we need to play Heskey to get the best out of Rooney.
SWP over Walcott/Johnson is still  IMO

We don't know what Capello has seen in training the last few weeks so maybe he has had to abandoned that idea. You can't leave Joe Cole out.
