hey as some of you may know a taxi hit our lasses car and we've got a pay out we are considering a v6 corsa but wanted to know the pro's and con's hope someone can help me many thanks john

pro=plenty power
cons= heavy engine in the front of a light car the handling is ment to be a bit iffy

As far as I'm aware, the V6 only weighs around 20-30kgs more than a 20xe. I can't see it affecting the handling too badly, not enough to notice when driving on the roads anyway.

just put the c20let if you want big power, fitting the v6 takes alot more work

the only reason im thinking along the lines of a v6 is because im wanting sumthing different if that makes sence lol

thats not always the best route becausei fyou get problems then there isnt many people with that set up and tbf there isnt that many with let engines plus you can get silly power for cheapish

the average v6 from cavalier etc isnt really much more power than an xe. They are about 165 ish. Later vectra sri was 175 and the gsi 192. Not exactly worth it unless its the 175 with 3.0 cams if you ask me.

yeah i guess your rite nic just always wanted a v6 and i honestly dont know why lol but a let or red top could b on the cards

well my let is running 350bhp with a front mount and a few more little bits so the power is double that of the other engine, but you need to think how much power you want, i spin the wheels at 140mph if that sounds bad dont get a let, if that sounds good get a let

nope in the dry, i have an f28 gearbox on mine, was running 28psi at the time

lol i do like the sound of that lol but i wouldnt go to the kinds of sppeds mayb on a track day thats a thort tho does anyone have the spec of santa pods tigra ???? its blue with yellow wheels and its mental on the drag strip id b a little worrie tho with all that power how often do things go wrong ?

tbf im only running 195/45/15 tyres so its not like it has loads of drip lol i made a mess of me pants when it happened the gf looked at me and said that was a funny vibration

at the min nothing has broken, i dont run at 28psi all the time normally around 14psi just to be sure, everything works fine tbf, its in the garage at the min having brakes, suspension, bodywork all sorted they are one hell of a laugh tho and destroying more exoensive cars is always fun
