i have a 1.4 16v sport,seems to giving out blue smoke on idle or in traffic that is worse when hot. been told is valve seals or piston rings and is a common problem. any one had same problem and is it alot of work????? u2u me pls!!!

prob valve stem oil seals if its doing it at idle... get it compression tested to find out for sure... as for a big job, for oil seals, its a head off job, piston rings would need alot more work. depends how good you are with diy repairs really
