Bloody hell will. Is there no way you can make some space to let the engine cool while sat in traffic, my B always sat at 1/2 mark. Your fan is working aint it?

Mine has never gone past 90 i dont belive, but the corsa i had before often sat at about 95 - 98 *roughly.

Ł1700 aint bad at all, car looks well mint, I paid 1450 for my GSi last week, and people reckon that is expensive, but it aint when your getting a car thats been looked after and kept in mint condition.

Good purchase

Check the earth from the battery to the bulkhead.

I spent 6 months trying to fix a high running temp problem and it turned out my clock was over reading due to a bad earth connection

Don't know what I was trying to say when i said "make some space" so ignore that . Try and come up with all different ways of making it cooler in there, come up with something new/different.

very much doubt it will be the headgasket being deadly honest, i replaced the gasket on the car along with cambelt waterpump anti freeze, head skim and pressure test, new head bolts etc... etc... ALL the usual stuff when doing a headgasket.

why did you have to replace the rad? lost all the water? if the gaskets gone again sounds as if its lost all the coolant from a rad leak if it was leaking and its got a bit hot.

Fan used tgo kick in beetween 98-100 EVERYTIME

Car was cheap IMO should of fetched over 2k all day everyday.

how did you work out that they should all sit at 90? theres 2 different fan switches for them, one makes the fan kick in at 98 and the other is a bit lower IIRC
