Looks a bit 'bricky' to be honest and looks more like a chinese copy than something Apple would push out there doors. I prefer the roundness and overall sleekness of the current iPhones to this and i'm not exactly bowled over with the suspected new features.

I would say its fake myself, It looks worse than the current iphone and why would apple suddenly change the design, they will keep a very similar case, just update the components inside, camera, flash maybe, front facing camera.

They changed the design from the 2G to the 3G.. If this is really going to be a "4G iPhone" and not just another version of the 3G then I think it'll look quite a bit different. It was always going to have "squarer" edges imo to keep design continuity with the iPad.

Apple have changed most of their other products to a more square design with the introduction of the aluminium uni-body design. I would think that they would quite like to do this on the iPhone, however I'm not sure if the manufacturing techniques for this design would be all that suitable. I think we can safely say that it might look something like the iPad and there are functions in the new API which would suggest that it will have a flash...

Ehh, I thought the iPad was curvy?

Anywho I quite like the chunkier sides but same look on the front of the device. At first glance it reminded me of one my old phones, my Nokia N78 (r.i.p.)

it barely changed from 2g to 3g...

i can't see apple who is 100% style focused, pushing out the above pictured phone. the thing above looks like a brick.

Apple wouldn't release something that looked like that, it just goes against all their princibles.

There are always loads of rumours and chinese copies etc... think how many different 'fake' ipads there were before it got released.

why doesn't it continue using the traditonal rocker control on the side for volume? on all iphones and also the ipad

I'm not convinced that's real. It would be an enormous error to have a glass screen protrude from the casing leaving the edges exposed like that. It's just asking to get chipped and scratched. Also, the split lines in the body don't look clean enough for Apple. Also, the switch gear is a bit fussy in comparison to other apple products.

Only time will tell...
