Inlet has been fitted today along with the throttle body. Fortunately the new rear mount has sorted out the engine positioning. It now no longer sits hard against the bulkhead which is a bonus.

Wired in the Apexi direct to the ECU and will test it tomorrow:

Then i added a new plug for the water temp sensor as the old one was funking shonkey:

Might have more updates tomorrow but more than likely it will be Thursday before a update of any decent substance. That one is totally reliant on royal mail as well so will probably not happen tbh.

Yep, its tough it really is i tell you.

Waiting on bits arriving now, major bit is the exhaust manifold as without that i cannot fit the rad, oil cooler or intercooler because of the usual space issues. Hopefully i will have that in a week from now

Well today i managed to check the apexi wiring worked ok by powering it up. All seems good so thats a good start. Then i received my enlarged EDS top hat so i slung that on as well.

Hopefully tomorrow will see the eccentric top mounts and the sard fpr arrive. If not then it will be a major update next week as i will have the exhaust manifold.

what rear mount you fit rick or was it just the position of it making it sit against the bulkhead?

looking good, what manifold did you go for?

James at Nortech is making the exhaust manifold.

It had a nova rear engine mount on which is different to a corsa mount causing the engine to sit to far back.

Today my genuine authentic replica?? Sard FPR arrived direct from Malaysia despite the seller stating it was located in London!

I also fitted the new battery cable:

I managed to refit the front suspension loosely as i need to lower the tie bars to the underside of the TCA's still. I also discovered i need to shorten the NSF driveshaft a bit more as well...
