BTW I missed out the most important update of all from yesterday. It runs or should i say, it did run. I started to remove parts in preperation for fitting the F28 gearbox and fitting the rest of the Roosesport hoses to the inlet manifold.

Interesting picture showing difference between some inlet manifolds. Noticed this on Robs astra build thread so i checked my own:

There is a difference in the castings. Apparently they have 2 different part numbers Steveboyslim has told me. One has larger ports than the other one.

I now have a phase 4 ecu for plans a bit further down the line. My mate rob smith ran phase 4 on a standard let with a hybrid kkk so i might sling it on a stock engine with a gt30 at some point. Either that or sell it on if i decide to keep the car how it is.

Full clutch kit is all here now, just need a flywheel:

I intend to do that gary. Just stocking up with parts incase i decide to change any bits on it.

Up to now i have the following bits that will be fitted with the F28:
15 row mocal oil cooler,
Black Apexi AVC-R,
Helix clutch and cover plate,
TTV flywheel (when they have them made ready to sell).

Then bits i have sorted incase i decide to make it a little faster:
Phase 4 ecu with power wheel,
Tubular manifold and downpipe with Tial flanges,
550cc msd injectors.

Hopefully fingers crossed i might be able to get the flywheel this coming week which will mean i can fit the F28 and get the whole car back together ready for a MOT and a exhaust.
