All nova systems are the same bore there is no difference. You will find that the shap of the systems may differ since the later novas have a straight exit zorst and the early ones have an angled exit, but im not 100% sure about that

cant remember whever the systems are different shapes or not mate. I know that some Mk2's come with CATS (such as SRi) so will have a different system as most other novas. Best thing to do would be have a look

The sr's, gsi's etc have different downpipes I think, so you could get a gsi downpipe as well to fit any gsi exhaust.

Have a look here www.provenproducts.co.uk

They do sportex ones with manifolds quite cheaply.

i think mine has a cat, its an sxi so has bits of different models on. it has sri dash, wheels etc. so i think it might be an sri exhaust?
what are sportex like, they do one for the 1.2i, which mine is? what does the cat look like?

Sportex look and sound good I think but dont last that long. I had a twin 3" back box on my 1.2i and it sounded great! I think the full systems are a fair bit louder though. The cat just looks like an silencer box. Do you have a lambda sensor?

Personally if I were you i'd just get a back box, you wont see no performance gain from a system.

i'd rather have a system. i'm not bothered about performance gains i just think you get a better sound quality from a system. where did you get that ashley exhaust from?cheers jay

ive got a rally design catalogue from 2000, and it doesnt list a 1.2. thers 1300, 1300sr, 1600gte and 1600gsi. the website isnt very good either.www.raldes.co.uk. when you say cheap, is that because they arent good and will fall apart?

No, Rally Design are cheap. If you buy the manifold and system then any nova ones will fit. Phone them and ask.
