i knew it was mapped, just woundering if you ever go for 300+, front mount and xev inlet cam?

The intercooler is near on £1000 quid and for the gains, I don't see the point.

I completley agree. I'm staying Stage 2for that reason.

Think i'm also going to jump on the DAP spring bandwagon. My Eibachs are fine, just fancy a change....

The Forge one LOOKS good and is good gains and I think that is £780 but Thorney use Pace for their coolers which are more expensive.

Once you have the LSD fitted how do you notice a big improvement?

Are you able to just apply more throttle mid corner etc?

Can you tell by normal road driving or is it something you can only tell a massiv improvemenet on track?

£1k!!!

Thats up into Blitz/Spoon/Nismo pricing territory......

Thats a total rip off, sorry. Even Donnas totally custom IC (which is bigger), was only £360, so thats a complete mark up piss take!!!!

the improvement will be shown instantly when doing corners, anything to do with traction

You get all the associated pipework as well though, not just an IC.

Yeah, but compared to say that VW IC kit that someone linked to ebay, that had silicone hoses, IC, metal pipework etc, which was £250........

Thats still vastly over-priced.

All the VXR coolers have metal pipework as well, a hell of a lot of it

You can get cheaper coolers but I'd prefer to stick to the ones that have been used when the various stages have been developed by the tuners.

Courtenay have their own
Thorney have their own
Regal have their own.

Money maker yes, deffo. But you pay for their development work and not some generic intercooler.

I wouldn't buy a new Astra H VXR when the Astra I VXR is out next year.

Get a low mileage pre owned one like from a Vauxhall dealer like Stockers.

I'd love a silver lightening VXR, one goes around local to me and looks so nice. Only thing that puts me off is giving up the day to day fuel economy of my boxed 150 diesel. Its near on identical in a straight line with a standard power VXR aswell so cant justify the change just now.
