Thanks Andy I actually prefer the black cover tbh Was wondering whether to get a black one and then paint it

Nice one on the speakers, will have to look for adapters. I think my passenger side one is on its way out because it makes strange noises on some songs

Alan Cheers mate yeah I'm well pleased. Been enjoying driving it a lot. Been driving it since Tuesday so not long really, but it's been good Overtook a Rover the other day on the way home from work

Yeah mate definitely! Especially with the new camera Just waiting for a good weekend, it's been so unpredictable lately. They forecast sunny intervals but we had snow twice today So got out while I could.

Nice one, good price too. However they look remarkably similar to my B ones so might not need new ones after all New speakers next weekend then hopefully

Too right Alan I've done about 55 miles and nearly used quarter of a tank Definitely will mate, as soon as half decent weather comes around It's almost torture taking pics in this cold My hands were proper freezing by the end of these.

See on the Halfords bit aswell Dave, can buy the steering wheel adaptor for £29.99.

Just browsing ive spotted this also :
http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-pioneer-avic-f500bt_p-23371.htm

Was £1055, now £200 im tempted, but would probly get nicked with no removable front.

Didn't think of looking on Halfords for the steering controls adapter Would like to keep the use of them tbh.

£200 Bargain. No disc drive though I have my car music on MP3 CD's

That sounds pretty good Warren, I used to get about 350-400 miles out of a tank on the B but I think what doesn't help is a lot of time sat in stop-start traffic every day. Need to get pics sorted out then a for sale ad will be up!

Car is 2004 mate That looks like it could be it, half the price too It's annoying when they make it hard to tell the difference between these things when they use poor quality images like that

With the steering control adapter, that Sextons one is fine.

From what I remember you either get the non steering control one or the steering control one. Both have a lot of wires, and also a metal tube which is an aerial amplifier.

You will also need the relevant patch lead to plug into the remote socket on the back of your headunit, so in your case a Pioneer one

This steering controls adapter thing is well confusing me I knew I should have gotten a pic of the connector from the back of the radio... There's a blue wire with "remote adapter" or something written on it so I don't know if I have to do something with that.

Cheers Alan Do it!

Andy

Cheers Gev It is indeed It felt huge to me the first time I drove it! Much more used to it now Although seemingly not entirely because I caught a wheel on the kerb parking outside my house tonight It's just a scratch but it's noticeable and right in the middle of a spoke

You know you do Deano
