well just got this last weekend, it was just turning 25k miles with full service and mot history, 2 lady owners from new, everything is original down to the wheel trims and number plates. no rust at all on her its actually mint inside and out. i have now got white softstars and coilovers put on her, just waiting on the gsi front splitter, headlight protectors and wind deflectors coming into my local vauxhall dealership along with a cat back scorpion exhaust which is sitting there waiting to be fitted

not the best of photo's tho

future modifications with probly most likely be a power boost valve, chipped along with a full decat and manifold.

pictures of my softstars and coilovers installed soon to follow

cheers

That looks really clean, good find. Have you checked the underside/chassis?under the carpets for rust though?

Leave the airbox on and put a panel filter in the origional airbox, will be far better.

Fuk me thats clean.

Wouldnt bother with a PBV either.Waste of money. The fuel pressure on a standard n/a engine shouldnt be an issue.

Very clean, reminds me of mine (but yours being red).

But for gawds sake, do NOT put a FSE power boost valve on. The engine does not need it.

Minter Very tidy motor, that. Welcome to the site too btw

Danny is right about the air filter. Don't bother with a cone as it's really not worth it.

I predict it will look like that for about another 2 weeks.

Please don't go and ruin it, keep it how it is.

Stick a big huge foam filter on it.

They make some racket at full pelt.

Rubbish, loved mine. Sounded proper chav and mean. Until all smaller engines started to sound the same.

Cossie Cone ftw. OJC will remember.

CONE!

The cone won't make a difference performance wise, will probably just hamper it tbh and all it will do is sound a bit louder.

Filter is fine, it'll make the throttle more responsive, it'll sound louder on throttle, but will probably reduce peak power, if not feeling faster (but thats the increased throttle response).

It'll also use more fuel, but who cares about that.

Scorpion, twin square, or chav'd out 4" round?

Lovely example there. If I were you I wouldn't change a thing on it, except maybe the suspension.
