whenever i open a new explorer window it wont load the homepage/any other site its like the internet isnt connected (doesnt come up with the unable to show page, it just looks as though its going to go to the page but stupidly slowly but never actually does). yet if you open a new tab it will load the home page straight away.

then it will do it the other way round where the tab your on works fine but if you try and open a new tab then it wont load anything again

god i want to go back to ie7

Yeah, same happened to me with IE8, I went back to 7.
