What's the Bhp of a standard c20let engine? my friend has been offered a sri with a let engine fitted and he's trying to say it's running at 380 bhp. My friend laughed at him as he said you would have to spend proper £ to get it anywhere near that. Is he right?

200bhp Standard. And yes 380bhp would require alot of work. Pistons,Rods,Turbo,Manifold and maybe management.

my friend doesn't think he really has it, why would you offer a car pulling 380bhp for a golf gti maybe about 130bhp

I was told phase 2 and be happy. So just under that. Any more, internals were needed. Was clearly lied to though.
