28k miles..............I find that hard to believe!! Got some dodgy mesh & aftermarket alloys fitted!!

I wouldnt say the interior shows just 28k miles of wear.......

Front door cards are wrong aswell, Was on ebay a while back. Its had doors off a newer escort fitted, as the old ones had rotted.

The Primera was 400bhp, Built by Severn Valley years ago, Proper job like, Cossie floorpan, Recaros all trimmed to match with Escort cossie dials etc, Quality car.

As for th Amir Kahns and the exhausts, They came on the car and didnt last long, 1.6slx badges were alled, 2 of the exhausts were lost and 15" TSW Stealths were added

So someones knocked it up in their garage from twentysecond hand parts off ebay & a new shell??

I just think buying one of these would be more dodgy than asking a nigerian to look after your Rolex for you while you bend down to tie your showlace!!

Obviously will be some decent honest cars around.......probably around the same number of decent honest nigerians!!

Yeah

It need indeapth homework to buy one, and an enthusiasticly owned one.

I would personally buy from someone in the RS owners club, as the history of most cossies on there can be traced

There is nothing complicated about a cossie, I would be more interested in its current condition than its history, providing all the right parts are present and in good order and the shell is straight I wouldnt care if it was on its 5 gearbox or 4th engine or had the interior swapped from another car etc.

Should it not be on a Q plate then, or has the reshell went the whole hog & cloned the car to a plate off a damaged one?

I'd generally agree for a car of that age, however with a cossie i'd want to dig a bit (lot) deeper!!

You would be bothered if you get pulled up the retail park one night by a he-man copper & get told the bad news that its been stolen some time ago & never traced & they are now going to recover it!!

Obviously checking the chassis and engine number matches the logbook is a good idea on ANY car you buy.
