Then he took everything out of that and put it in this gravel rally car shell (MSA registered) now running 618bhp....
other mates saph, same spec`d engine as white saph so around 410bhp. but its been tucked up in a workshop all year

Jambo, martin's car is definately one of the best escos's out there, and one of only 2 uk cossies to crack 200mph.
I got a passenger ride round combe in it a couple of years ago and it certainly felt a really well sorted package in terms of handling and braking etc
I still prefer the reyland 3 door though, thats my all time favourite cossie.

Ooooo yes Lee Manning/Rentons one?
Saw that on a "cruise" ( ) back in the day when it was still white with the Reyland graphics. Was cool as fuck and sounded mint also.
I wish to own a Mallard Green big turbo with MADevelopments 400bhp conversion and a retrim with 18" Rondells....

Yeah Lee Mannings one.
Ive driven that car a couple of times and it was exactly as you would expect, animal delivery of power but in a chassis that really tames it well
Ive not been in an MADevelopments 400bhp conversion yet but im sure Mark does a good job, Ive driven one of his 711bhp conversions and it was pretty awesome, although sadly the roads were pretty busy that day so I never got to really open it up, was in it at brunters as passenger at 194mph though, which was pretty cool, we're going back with it soon I think as Dave who owns it wants to do 200

700bhp fucking awesome!
I aim for the 400bhp one as hopefully it would retain some road car charecteristics. I imagine 700bhp to be a tad of a handfull
Ive been in a Saph, but thats the closest ive got to driving a Cossie

Wasnt a handful at all mate, totally composed, even on track when pushing on fairly hard ( i was only passenger on track )
400bhp is a bad place to be with an escos really, its enough power to break the gearbox constantly if you have a standard one, and if you are going to go to the expense of an uprated one then you may as well go 500bhp instead.
Ive drive quiten a few escos's at various levels of tune and 500bhp is where they start to get interesting I reckon, 400bhp in a 3 door is awesome but in an escos it feels pretty tame, like it does in an evo and most other 4wd cars.

White MK III Transit is cool and sneaky
Moonstone 500 with BBS split rims and carbon bonnet is achingly lovely
Burnt out small turbo blue minter is the saddest thing i've seen in a long time
Some of the images in this thread REALLY add weight to the argument that the wrong set of wheels on a car is like a bad tatoo on a pretty girl.

Ive got a bad bad bad plan rolling around my head now today after this post...involving selling the M3, & running a escos for a year or so until the E92M is down to an afordable price........
The biggest arguement for being I can get back what I paid for the E46M just now & cossies generally dont lose money. So id be win win all the way

No Col, you could buy either trimmed shells or Motorsport shells and build (or have built) one from the ground up. I was going to do this years ago and had all the paperwork to get me started but the build was just too expensive and I shelved it and it never got done.

One of my mates old 380bhp cossie, it had the biggest brakes i've ever seen on a road car.
And one of his and his brothers 500bhp white cossie in the back ground

Theres not only ford that had cosworths.
What about the Mercedes 190E?
Wouldn't mind one of these
If I was to get one, It would have to be a black evolution 2 like this
