Cheers mate, there the 2.0 turbo brakes on it i think. (256mm discs)

Done a bit of a clean up in the engine bay this evening, re routed wires, vacuum pipes etc to better/ tidier places and had a good look over everything. Couldnt find my new pack of cable ties anywhere thow so il be making another trip to halfords to secure things in place.

No more piks yet lads sorry.

While the car was up in the air i ran it in gear so the discs were spinning (best to use wheel bolts to hold discs in place) Then i used a file to get rid of the step on the edge of the worn disc so the new pads wouldnt get groved.

Next i used a flat block of wood with high abrasive sand paper to skim over the rest of the disc area, you can see when its done as all the disc is the same level and all shiny. Then you can fit your new pads .

Prob a bit of a getto way of doing it but works well for me

Only a little update today people as ive been busy doing other things.

Cleaned up the engine bay, rerouted bits and bobs to safer places and cable tied everything secure. Then put the inlet cover back on to tidy it up, and strut brace. Metal polished the cam cover and strut brace to.

Had 2 of my tires fitted to my cav slabs, Still waiting delivery of my other 2.

I decided to stick them on the car to see how it'll look. I also fully washed the car inside and out, meguires waxed it, Back to blacked all viynal bits and meguire gla cleaned the windows. Also hovered it all out so now its looking really nice . Il get some better piks up soon but ive just got the 1 poor light 1 atm.

Very nearly there now then people, hopefully my tires will be here by tuesday so i can get them fitted and on . The last thing to do is the exhaust system, im going to be booking it in for saturday, at exhaustsuk in sheffield as ive used them before and think there worth the trip to get a good job

Il update as soon as theres more
