havnt poested up for a while due 2 my cambelt slipping and bending 16 valves and damaged 16 guides aswell

well i had all the valves etc replaced,
changed a few things and bought..
new magnecors
new dizzy cap
new rotary arm
new ntk plugs
new lambda sensor..
was trying 2 se if i could cure the missfire
but with still no luck..
then on the start of my so called week off ,, i was on my way to sort out a c20xe corsa-c conversion that wat butchered got 2mins away from his house and my f20 box decided 2 lock in gear... so bye bye gearbox.

so i went and got another gearbox off spankyjames (top bloke)
fitted that yesterday and was giving it a run 2day and on top boost ....... bang there goes another f20.. luckily enough i have a f28 on its way from cemex... so will update with a few pics

Missing under boost? Re-gap your plugs to 0.6 mate .

Under boost / on boost. . . . . Thats what I mean . But its the first thing to check really. The amount of people that buy LET's and put standard LET plugs in at standard gap is silly really. I know a lad that changed every sensor on the engine all because he didn't know he had to gap the plugs for more boost .

Rite now changed gap to 0.6mm so will see what happens when I have the new box on
